Kids Promise Presents 25th Charity Home
Thanks to the support of donors near and far, Kids Promise presented its 25th Charity Home to a family in Dong Thap City, Vietnam. Mrs. Vo Thi Thanh Thao and her family were the deserving recipients of the new house, which replaces the decayed and unhealthy home in which the family had been living.
Mrs. Thao sells home appliances, but her unstable income forces her to travel among local communities. She cares for her niece and youngest daughter, who cannot work because of health issues. Mrs. Thao struggles to support the entire family and has long wished for a safer and more secure home. Kids Promise was able to give Mrs. Thao that home, complete with furniture that includes a desk and chair, bed, wardrobe, a table and 10 chairs. With this practical support, Mrs. Thao can more easily concentrate on her work and improving her family members’ lives.
