Charity House #39 is Announced
We are pleased to announce the construction of Charity House #39, donated to the family of Mr. Le Minh Cong and Ms. Bui Be Hai in Dong Thap Province. Mr. Cong and Ms. Hai are now living in a safe and dry home with their 5th grade child.
Previously, the family had shared a thatched hut with their parents. Farming conditions were poor, and so their tiny garden was abandoned. Mr. Cong is a construction worker while Ms. Hai works part-time and cares for the family. The couple earns just enough income to survive, but does not have any extra funds to make their house stronger and waterproof for the rainy season.
Thank you to our supporters and donors both in the U.S. and in Vietnam. With your help, we constructed a sturdy, safe and dry home for this deserving family, and were able to donate a few pieces of furniture.
